A Legacy Rooted in Modern Tree Science
My journey as an arborist began at age 5, but my professional foundation was built at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, California. I had the distinct honor of being mentored by the legendary Dr. Alex Shigo, the father of modern arboriculture.
This wasn’t just an education; it was learning to understand the biological defense systems of trees (CODIT) and the advanced physiological processes that govern tree life.
Today, as one of the original ISA Certified Arborists, I apply that same high-level science to every consultation and landscape I work on.
